After 25 years of serving clients in the financial services industry, Rich has chosen to take the next step in his professional journey by founding his own independent practice rooted in trust, compassion, and genuine human connection. Wolf Point Wealth Management was created to be a place where clients feel heard, supported, and confident about their financial future. Rich’s goal is simple: to provide truly personalized financial guidance, built on meaningful relationships and a deep understanding of each client’s goals, challenges, and vision for the future.
In his role, Rich works closely with a diverse range of clients and focuses on their long-term financial goals, specializing in retirement planning, including Social Security and Health Care planning. Rich is dedicated to his relationships with clients and prioritizes their financial needs and goals through regular reviews of their custom financial plan and portfolio allocations.
Rich’s career began in 1999 at People’s Securities Inc., a subsidiary of People’s Bank. With over 25 years of experience, Rich has worked with both retail and institutional clients at JG Securities, Prudential Financial, and Infinex Investments.
Rich is a graduate of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT with a double major in Business Administration and Finance. He has FINRA series 7, 24, 63 and 66 licenses, held with LPL Financial and his Life Insurance License. Additionally, Rich obtained the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation from the American College of Financial Services in 2014 and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation from Fi360 Broadbridge in 2024.
Rich has always enjoyed volunteering for organizations including Junior Achievement, March of Dimes, the Tashua Father’s Club, and Habitat for Humanity. Rich still actively volunteers in the community where he is currently the President and Regional Commissioner for Trumbull AYSO Region 186, and is a board member for several organizations including the Trumbull United Soccer Club.
Rich resides in Trumbull, CT with his wife, Luisa, and their two children. Rich can always be found coaching or managing his kids’ soccer, baseball, and softball teams, but in his spare time, Rich enjoys gardening, photography, playing the bass guitar with his band, taking care of his family’s many pets, and of course spending time with his family!
