Trumbull Youth Soccer
Rich has been an active volunteer for Trumbull Soccer for many years. Rich has not only been a coach for both of his children, but he has been a board member at Trumbull AYSO since 2014 and has served many roles including: Division Manager, Uniform Coordinator, Registrar, and Treasurer. Rich has been the Regoinal Commissioner for Trumbull AYSO Region 186 since 2022. Additionally, Rich has been a board member and team manager at Trumbull United Soccer Club since 2018 and has his Grassroots 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 Licenses through U.S. Soccer.
Habitat for Humanity
From 2008-2013, Rich actively volunteered for the Habitat for Humanity of the Greater New Haven Area.
Tashua Father's Club LLC
Rich was a member of the Tashua Father's Club from 2014-2023. Rich was a senior board member and treasurer for 4 years. Rich was one of three members that established the TFC to be an independent LLC and 501(c)3 in 2019. The TFC raises funds for supplies and programs that directly benefit the children and teachers of Tashua Elementary School including academics, events, physical education, and student safety.
Supporting our pets!
Rich has always been an advocate for supporting local animal shelters. He and his family have supported food drives for both the Animal Haven in North Hartford and the Trumbull Animal Shelter. Also, over the years, Rich and his family have adopted/rescued many different types of pets including ferrets, lizards, and most recently (Dec 2025) three feral cats from the Trumbull Animal Shelter.
